Passing through Prague by bike is one of the best ways to visit the city. With this tour, you'll discover the main sights in the Czech capital on two wheels.
Prague Bike Tour
When booking, you can choose between two different tours. Both include an English-speaking guide and bike hire and start outside the Hotel Grandior. Below, you can see the details of each:
1 hour 30 minute tour
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Grandior Hotel in Prague, where we'll take the bike for a tour of the most important sights around the city. We'll pass by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to see its large glass dome and the imposing Renaissance building of the Rudolfinum.
We'll also stop on the banks of the Vltava River to see the castle which was the residence of the Bohemian kings. We'll have the opportunity to cycle past the Franz Kafka Museum - did you know that this place houses the first editions of the famous writer? We'll then cross the Charles Bridge and see places such as the Dancing House, the National Theatre and Wenceslas Square, among others.
Finally, after 1 hour 30 minutes of sightseeing, we'll end the experience at the starting point.
3 hour tour
With this tour, we'll cross the Vltava River, pass the giant metronome in Letná Park, the Royal Gardens and the Belvedere Palace, and climb up to the Prague Castle, where you will enjoy the incredible views of the city.
The tour will continue next to the Strahov Monastery, crossing the hilltop parks to see the Petřín Tower, built in 1891 in a style similar to the Eiffel Tower.
We'll cross the river to return to the right bank of Prague and walk through the streets of the Old Town to see some of the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Theatre, the Old Town Hall, the famous Astronomical Clock and the State Opera House. After three hours of sightseeing, we'll return to the Grandior Hotel to conclude the tour.
Regular or electric bike
The Prague bike tour is available on both regular and electric bicycles. The electric bicycles have an electric motor that assists on the slopes and during pedalling, providing a more comfortable and relaxed experience through the streets of Prague.
The bike tours have the following timetable:
- 1 hour 30 minute tour: Every day at 9 am or 5:30 pm
- 3 hour tour: Every at 10 am or 2 pm
Tour with Children
If you would like to take this tour with children who already know how to ride a bike, we recommend that you reserve an electric bike for them, and we'll adapt it to their needs. Prague is a famously hilly city, and the help of the electric motor allows them to enjoy the tour to the fullest. We also have smaller bikes which they can try before the tour begins, to choose which they prefer.
1 hour 30 minutes - 3 hours.
The activity takes place with a guide that speaks in English, although it may occasionally be done in two languages.
