Kozel Brewery Tour
Delve into the history, production, and aroma of Kozel, one of the most famous Czech beers. You'll see why the Czechs are the world's biggest beer drinkers!
Kozel Brewery Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Praha Hlavni Nadrazi train station, where we'll take a train to our destination. On this excursion, we'll visit the famous Kozel brewery, one of the most consumed brands of beer in the Czech Republic. People say it's got a mild taste with a slightly bitter finish. Ready to find out for yourself?
We'll arrive at the brewery and the aroma of barley and malt that surrounds this place will envelop us as we begin our walk through its facilities. Once in the visitor center, we'll learn about the history of the founders of Kozel: the Ringhoffers family.
During the tour, we'll get to see the raw materials used to make this beer and learn about the process of mashing, fermentation, and bottling. We'll also meet Olda, the brewery's mascot!
During our guided tour of the Kozel brewery, we'll also visit the cellars where the beer is matured and stored after brewing. To end the tour and understand the success of Kozel, we'll have a tasting of an unfiltered beer - cheers!
Finally, we'll return by train to Prague and say our goodbyes back at the starting point after a total of five hours.
